Sculptural Stone for your Garden

Sculptural Stone as Garden Art

The garden enthusiast is always searching….  The right plant in the right spot, color throughout the seasons, modifying soil, winter interest, wildlife interaction, reshaping, replanting, the perfect prune, and the most important thing of course, garden harmony. Time spent in the garden is therapeutic and should bring happiness.  Happiness and harmony is what it is all about.

Most of my patrons share that sentiment and I am sure many of you do too.  Putting time and energy into your garden is rewarding.  There is a saying, and I don’t know it exactly: If you want to be happy for a day buy a new car.  If you want to be happy for a week go on vacation.  If you want to be happy for a year start a family.  If you want to be happy for a lifetime, cultivate your garden.

This saying runs deep.  One of my goals here is to hand-craft unique pieces that help people enjoy their garden more.  Some feel that garden art is not fine art or is in a lesser category of art.  Regardless, if you enjoy interacting with, sharing space with, looking or touching a piece, and completing a spacial relationship that was otherwise void then garden art serves its intent. It is just as valuable as any other piece of art out there.

My stone art encourages interaction.  “Please touch me, I am stone!”  It is real, tangible, earthly, organic.  What is it?  I don’t know, that is up to you.  There are many choices available, if you are interested or inspired contact me I’d love to help you complete your garden.
